Excel 2019 Certification Prep - Module 1
There are 4 Modules in the full program to prepare a student for the Excel 2019 MOS Certification test. Each Module builds upon the previous one.
If someone feels they have mastered the Beginner or Intermediate courses through previous classes or on the job training they are welcome to take an exam to determine if they can register straight into an advanced course.
Students must register into each course they wish to take. Contact coned@wvncc.edu for more information.
Course 1 – Excel Foundations (Beginner)
- This is a 16 hour online/hybrid course

- Basic formatting
- Introduction to formulas
- Introduction to charts

Basic Computer Skills Level 1
This introductory course is designed specifically for people who are new to computers or returning after a long break.
The class focuses on building confidence with essential computer skills, including turning on and navigating a computer, creating and using an email account, browsing the internet safely, installing basic applications, and recognizing common online risks. Through simple demonstrations, guided practice, and supportive instruction, students will gain the foundational skills needed to use a computer independently in their daily lives.
