School Bus Endorsement - New Martinsville Campus

During the 3-week class the students will be taught how to safely operate a Class B vehicle. It will consist of 1 week in-class learning to obtain a valid CDL-learners permit. Many sections of the class will be discussed including; general knowledge, airbrakes, passenger, school bus endorsement, hours of service,FMCSA's compliance, safety, accountability, and defensive driving. After obtaining the permit, the student will continue class for 2 weeks of road/range. The student will be taught how to properly pre-trip a school bus.

CDL Class A - WEEKEND NEW MARTINSVILLE CAMPUS

This course is designed to prepare students for a Class A commercial driver’s license. It consists of two weeks of in-class training to obtain a valid CDL-learner permit. General Knowledge, airbrakes, combination sections, tanker endorsement, and doubles and triples will be covered to obtain the permit. Hours of service, FMCSA's compliance, safety, accountability, and defensive driving will also be covered. Once a permit is obtained, students will continue with three weeks of road and range training. Training will consist of proper pre-trip inspection of a commercial motor vehicle and how to safely perform reverse maneuvers and operate on city streets and highways.
Classes will be held on the New Martinsville Campus.
Applicants must pass a D.O.T. physical exam and drug screening before the first day of class.
