This is a 16 hour class and will be held over 2 Saturdays- April 18th and April 25th, 2026 on the Weirton Campus.  

The Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) course teaches emergency providers how to assess and manage critical medical patients using a systematic, assessment-based approach, focusing on thinking beyond monitors to understand underlying issues like respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, and endocrine problems. Sponsored by NAEMT, it uses case-based scenarios, interactive discussions, and practical skills stations for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, PAs, and physicians, emphasizing critical thinking, scene size-up,history, and physical exams to develop effective treatment plans.
