This course is designed to prepare students for a Class A commercial driver’s license. It consists of two weeks of in-class training to obtain a valid CDL-learner permit. General Knowledge, airbrakes, combination sections, tanker endorsement, and doubles and triples will be covered to obtain the permit. Hours of service, FMCSA's compliance, safety, accountability, and defensive driving will also be covered. Once a permit is obtained, students will continue with three weeks of road and range training.
