This is a 16 hour class and will be held over 2 Saturdays - February 7, 2026 and February 21, 2026.
The Difficult Airway Course teaches healthcare providers advanced, hands-on techniques for managing challenging airway scenarios, focusing on identifying difficult airways, systematic approaches, using tools like video laryngoscopes and extraglottic devices, cricothyrotomy, awake intubation, medication-assisted intubation, and incorporating human factors like team communication
Includes:
- Didactic and Hands-on Training
- Prediction of the Difficult Airway
- Video Laryngoscopy and other advanced imaging devices
- Medication-assisted Intubation (including RSI and RSA)
- Pediatric intubation
- Endotracheal tube introducers (bougie)
- Cricothyrotomy
- Extraglottic devices
