West Virginia Northern Community College

This course is designed to instruct early childhood education standards to those working with children birth to age 5.   Students will learn the requirements are to establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment, components to advance the physical, cognitive, communicative and creative development of young children, how to build productive relationships with families, and understand the principles of child development.
