"Emerging Practices in the Psychology of Sustainability and Environmental Justice. Abstract-with growing concern with the scientific community towards the effects of climate change, and the devastatingly disproportionat outcomes affecting those who live in the most climate-sensitive parts of the world, we look to past for guidance for Dr. Martin Luther King's teachings of the American Psychological Association's definition of "creative maladustment and the comptemporary research area of the psychology of sustainability. We will revisit the term in its historical and proper modern context for overcoming challenges to ecologically mindful actions such as transititoning to sustainable energy technologies,regenerative practices, climate adaptation and mitigation, and globally focused environmental justice."
