Stained Glass

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at the art of stained glass? You can try this hands-on, beginner-friendly introduction to creating art glass using the Tiffany (copper foil) method, no prior experience required. In this stained-glass Saturday class, you will get to pick one of the three Easter/spring patterns. Class will begin with a safety overview and introduction to the tools used in glass making with a brief history of the art. You will be guided in the traditional stained-glass techniques including cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering. You will leave the class with a completed stained-glass sun catcher of Peeps, an Easter Egg, or a bunny. The fee includes all instruction, tools, and materials. You will need to wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get dirty,(just in case).
Pickleball Weirton

WEATHER PERMITING-Come join the fastest growing sport in America. This class is hands on and active. The instructor, Ron Ritter, will hold the first class on Weirton campus in room 243, to go over the rules of the game. The classes following will be held outside at Starveggi Park in Weirton. The address for the courts is 144 Starveggi Drive. This class meets on Tuesdays and Thursday nights only for three weeks from 5pm-6pm. The cost is $30 per person. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring your own water bottle, towels and equipment, if you have it. Equipment will be provided if you dont have your own. In case of rain, we will reschedule your class according to your teacher.
Flying Drones for Fun and Images - Wheeling Campus

This class will introduce the student to basic drone concepts for recreational drone pilots. Topics include: FAA regulations for hobbyist pilots, understanding airspace and weather, safe preflight procedures and takeoff/landing techniques, and introductory drone photography or videography principles. There will be both classroom and actual drone flying components to this class. Students will receive 30 minutes of actual flying time during the class and the emphasis will be on flying for fun while preparing each student to obtain their own drone and to operate it safely.

Weld it yourself, Level of Difficulty-easy, Weld processes used-MIG to tack the petals. Oxyacetylene torch for bending and forming petals. Create your own flower that will last a lifetime. No experience necessary. PPE provided. Ages 11-14 parent must accompany student to class and sign a wavier form. Ages 15-17 parent must sign a wavier form and parent/guardian does not need to be present for class.
