Beginner 2.0 Class. In this class, participants will be making a 10-12 piece project. Some experience is recommended. Have you ever wanted to try your hand at the art of Stained Glass? You can try this hands-on, beginner-friendly introduction to creating art glass using the Tiffany (copper foil) method, no prior experience required. This class will begin with a safety overview and introduction to the tools used in glass making, with a brief history of the art. You will be guided in the traditional Stained-Glass techniques including cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering. The class fee includes all instructions, tools, and materials. Flying Drones for Fun and Images - New Martinsville Campus

This class will introduce the student to basic drone concepts for recreational drone pilots. Topics include: FAA regulations for hobbyist pilots, understanding airspace and weather, safe preflight procedures and takeoff/landing techniques, and introductory drone photography or videography principles. There will be both classroom and actual drone flying components to this class. Students will receive 30 minutes of actual flying time during the class and the emphasis will be on flying for fun while preparing each student to obtain their own drone and to operate it safely.

Weld it Yourself-American Flag

Learn the basics of tack welding while creating something you can take home and use. In this hands-on series, participants will weld a real steel horseshoes into a finished piece. This class is beginner-friendly and designed for those with little to no welding experience. Students will receive step-by-step instructionson using SMAW weldinf process. All materials and tools are provided, and participants will leave with a completed horseshoe project they welded themselves. Please wear jeans and boots. Skills covered; Basic welding setup and techinique, and metal positioning and tack welding. Who can attend: Ages 16 plus, No prior welding experience required. Class length 2-3 hours, teacher Brandy Killeen and Don Bosley.

Low Impact Aerobic-WEIRTON ONLY
with Carol Teoff
This is a low impact aerobics class with an emphasis on cardiorespiratory endurance, strength, improvement and flexibility with no chair or floor work, usually to music that is 128-140 bpm. Students can use stretchy bands. The instructor will demonstrate easier and more difficult ways to do each movement so that the students can exercise at their own level.
