Intro to Welding - Wheeling Campus Morning Class
The course introduces all forms of welding processes and the history of welding and its progression to current practices used today. Students will also receive basic hands-on experience with Oxygen/Acetylene grazing, soldering, welding and cutting. They will be instructed on Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes according to the American Welding Society (AWS) Part D1.1Structural Steel standards.
Cost of the course is $875.00 This class will be held every Friday from August 28, through December 11. 8:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
