This course covers the basics of photography and camera controls. Topics include; exposure, shutter speeds, f-stops, depth-of-field, white balance, and camera controls. Basic principles of compositions, lens selection, flash, and filters will be reviewed. Image file types and when to use which one(s) will be discussed. After this class, the student will have an understanding of not only their camera and its operation but also how to make the best image possible, not just take a snapshot.
