Intro to Photography - Wheeling Campus

This course is for those new to photography and those that have been doing photography, but would like a better understanding of their camera and the basic principles of photography. You will learn how to set-up your camera properly and the essentials of photography, including: exposure, aperture, shutter speed, white balance, ISO, program and manual modes, and image file types.
We will also cover composition, lens selection, depth-of-field, exposure compensation, and more. Students will share and discuss their images during the class.

Flying Drones for Fun and Images - Wheeling Campus
with Larry Tackett
This class will introduce the student to basic drone concepts for recreational drone pilots. Topics include: FAA regulations for hobbyist pilots, understanding airspace and weather, safe preflight procedures and takeoff/landing techniques, and introductory drone photography or videography principles. There will be both classroom and actual drone flying components to this class. Students will receive 30 minutes of actual flying time during the class and the emphasis will be on flying for fun while preparing each student to obtain their own drone and to operate it safely.
