Low Impact Aerobics

Calendar Sep 2, 2025 at 6 pm, runs for 15 weeks

This class is $10 total not per class. This is a Low Impact Aerobics class with an emphasis on cardiorespiratory endurance, strength, improvement, and flexibility with no chair or floor work. This class is to music 128-140 bpm. Students can use stretchy bands. The instructor will demonstrate easier and more difficult ways to do each movement so that the students can exerciseat their own level.

This class is geared toward the older adult, or anyone looking for a fitness class that is low intensity, low impact, and focuses on exercises that are meant to increase muscle strength, balance, and flexibility. Exercises are modified to be done standing or in a chair. Participants should be prepared with a pair of light weights (1-5lbs), small towel, and plenty of water.

Pickleball Weirton

Come join the fastest growing sport in America. This class is hands on and active. The instructor, Ron Ritter, will hold the first class on Weirton campus in room 243, to go over the rules of the game. The classes following will be held outside at Starveggi Park in Weirton. The address for the courts is 144 Starveggi Drive. This class meets on Tuesdays and Thursday nights only for three weeks from 5pm-6pm. The cost is $30 per person. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring your own water bottle, towels and equipment, if you have it. Equipment will be provided if you dont have your own. In case of rain, we will reschedule your class according to your teacher.

UFO's 101

The subject of UFO's and aliens have fascinated people for a long time. Government and private organizations have collected a lot of data on UFO's and UFO activities in the last 70 years. We will discuss and examine various topics to get a better perspective on UFO's and alien sightings. 

PICKLEBALL

Come join the fastest growing sport in America! This class is hands on and active. The instructor will quickly go over the rules of the game and you will start playing pickleball immediately. Each game lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. The game is over once a player reaches 11 points. You must win the game by two points. Please wear comfortable clothes, shorts or sweats, t' shirt, and tennis shoes. Bring your own water bottle and towel. We will provide a pickleball paddle and balls but you are welcome to bring your own equipment. This class is two Wednesday nights only. The class is limited to 8 participants.
