Low Impact Aerobics

This class is $10 total, not per class. This is a Low Impact Aerobics class with an emphasis on cardiorespiratory endurance, strength, improvement, and flexibility with no chair or floor work. This class is to music 128-140 bpm. Students can use stretchy bands. The instructor will demonstrate easier and more difficult ways to do each movement so that the students can exerciseat their own level.

Stained Glass-Wheeling

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at the art of stained glass? You can try this hands-on, beginner-friendly introduction to creating art glass using the Tiffany (copper foil) method, no prior experience required. In this stained-glass Saturday class, you will get to pick one of the three Easter/spring patterns. Class will begin with a safety overview and introduction to the tools used in glass making with a brief history of the art. You will be guided in the traditional stained-glass techniques including cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering. You will leave the class with a completed stained-glass sun catcher of Peeps, an Easter Egg, or a bunny. The fee includes all instruction, tools, and materials. You will need to wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get dirty,(just in case).
Crocheting

Crocheting class-please bring your own supplies; 1 ball of medium/worsted weight yarn. (light solid color) and 1 size H/8 (5mm) crochet hook.
This inclusive crocheting class is open to anyone interested in learning or improving their crochet skills. Beginners will be guided step-by-step through essential techniques like basic stitches, reading simple patterns, and finishing techniques. More experienced crocheters can work on personal projects, refine skills, and explore new techniques.
An instructor will be available throughout each session to offer demonstrations, personalized help, and skill-building tips. This class is also a relaxed space to share ideas, learn from one another, and enjoy the social side of fiber arts. Bring your own yarn and hooks, or come ready to learn what tools work best for your goals.

Through social media we are exposed to many versions of videos, from regular TV based formats to vertical shorts on Youtube, Facebook and other platforms. This course will introduce the basic concepts for shooting and editing video. There are many ways to create video footage, from our ubiquitous phones to high-end video capable cameras. For this class any camera will be suitable and the emphasis will be on the final product, a short-form video. In the class we will use a basic, free, editing software. Bring you phone or other camera and let’s create masterpiece!

Pickleball - Wheeling- class 4

Come join the fastest growing sport in America! This class is hands on and active. The instructor will quickly go over the rules of the game and you will start playing pickleball immediately. Each game lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. The game is over once a player reaches 11 points. You must win the game by two points. Please wear comfortable clothes, shorts or sweats, t' shirt, and tennis shoes. Bring your own water bottle and towel. We will provide a pickleball paddle and balls but you are welcome to bring your own equipment. This class is three Monday nights only on Wheeling Campus.
