Learn the basics of tack welding while creating something you can take home and use. In this hands-on series, participants will weld a real steel horseshoes into a finished piece. This class is beginner-friendly and designed for those with little to no welding experience. Students will receive step-by-step instructionson using SMAW weldinf process. All materials and tools are provided, and participants will leave with a completed horseshoe project they welded themselves. Please wear jeans and boots. Skills covered; Basic welding setup and techinique, and metal positioning and tack welding. Who can attend: Ages 16 plus, No prior welding experience required.
