Low Impact Aerobics

This is a low impact aerobics class with an emphasis on cardiorespiratory endurance, strength, improvement and flexibility with no chair or floor work, usually to music that is 128-140 bpm. Students can use stretchy bands. The instructor will demonstrate easier and more difficult ways to do each movement so that the students can exercise at their own level.

Music Appreciation 101

Celebrate Music Appreciation Week by signing up for this class. Mr. George will discuss the different musical genres. He will discuss the concepts of music and how it can have a positive impact with the stressors of life. We must have 4 participates registered by 5/3/24 or the class will not run.
Weld it Yourself-flower

Weld it yourself, Level of Difficulty-easy, Weld processes used-MIG to tack the petals. Oxyacetylene torch for bending and forming petals. Create your own flower that will last a lifetime. No experience necessary. PPE provided. We must have 3 students registered by May 8th for the class to run.
Baking 101
with Darcy Riggs-Suslovic
The student will learn basic techniques such as shortbread crust, rustic yeast bread, bakery style cookies, delectable cakes, bars, and quick puff pastry. Aprons and all ingredients will be provided. In this class you will learn proper mixing techniques, baking, portioning, and boxing. You will leave with a box of sweet treats to enjoy later. You will work in the bakeshop in the culinary arts kitchen in the EC. Please wear comfortable shoes and have your hair pulled back.
